SIZE GUIDE

Our clogs are made by hand and so the fit and feel of each style is unique. What size you will need largely depends on the wooden base but the leather uppers will also affect the fit. The wooden bases for each heel height vary in length and width per size, therefore you may not be the same size in each style. If you have a wider or narrower foot it may be that certain styles are better suited to you. Our sizes do not always directly translate so even if you know your European shoe size it's best to go from the measurements below.
Please bear this in mind and read all of the information below and in the product descriptions before ordering as we cannot currently offer free returns. To help you to choose the right size for the style you have chosen please refer to the wooden base measurements and information below.

CHOOSING YOUR SIZE /

Our clogs come on 5 different bases:
  • Flex Base (30mm flexible base) - generally true to size, wider feet may want to size up
  • Low (30-50mm heel) - runs regular-wide in fit, narrower feet may want to size down
  • Mini (45mm heel) - generally true to size, wider feet may want to size up
  • Mid (70mm heel) - runs a little smaller/narrower
  • Platform (70mm) - generally true to size

Measure your feet across the widest part of the ball of your foot and from toe to heel then compare to the measurements of the wooden bases in our chart to help you to choose a size.

We recommend measuring your feet whilst standing to get the most accurate measurement as your feet change shape when you put weight on them. Drawing around your foot or standing on a ruler is a good trick!  If you're unsure or between sizes you can always order two sizes and send one back in unworn and resalable condition. Remember these measurements are of the wooden base only. The leather uppers can often allow a little more room.

Your foot should fill the full length of the clog. If the width of your foot is slightly wider than that of the size that matches your length then you can go up a size.

    WEARING IN YOUR CLOGS /

Remember that the leather, suede or nubuck uppers of your clogs may take a little time to break in, as with most new shoes. With time and wear the leather will soften and mould to your foot. Unlike with other shoes, a classic wooden clog base does not bend as you walk and so your heel will lift as you walk. Our flex soles have a strip of flexible rubber at the ball of the foot and so do allow your foot to bend as you walk. With time and wear the wood will also soften and mould to your foot.

For more information about your clogs, the materials they are made from and how to care for them see our CLOG CARE page.
